Set the Date
This can be any day of the week.
If this is a personal Photoshoot it should be scheduled before 9pm.
Events can be set for any date and time.
We will also discuse pricing while desiding on the date.
Your Personal Info
I will need a name of the person who is planning the shoot or event. This will be my contact person.
Your home phone number or a cell number will need to be given to me so I can contact you with questions, or locate you when coming onto the location.
I will need to know where the photoshoot will be taking place.
If it is going to be in your home then I will need to know your home address so I can get directions.
It is the same for an event, I will need to know the location and get an address from you.
The Day of the Shoot
We (myself and assistant) will be arriving at the location that we discussed at the appointed time.
If the location is indoors we need an area about 8ftx8ft space to set up our backdrops and lights. This can be in any room of your home that you are comfortable useing.
If you would like to use your homes featers such as fireplace, staircase or arch way you are more than welcome to direct us to that area so we can set our lights.
While we are setting up you can get the kids and family members ready.
We don’t always shoot indoors, if your shoot is outdoors there are no space limits, weather will be the only worry.
Ready to Shoot
Everybody is ready and we start the portrait session, we can start with individules or the family group it is up to the family to deside what will work best in their own situation. Some children fade fast and the family portrait is more important than anything else so we will start with the entire family then move on to individules and sub groups.
Sub-groups these are smaller groups broken down from the family group such as; Mom and Dad, all the children, mom and the children, dad and the children, just the boys, just the girls, etc.
We can use props at anytime, personal props that mean somthing to the family or child are more fun and add a personal touch.
Seasonal props are a great way to “date” the time the portrait was taken and can keep a smaller child intrested in the portraits.
Time to View
After we have taken your portraits they are uploaded into our laptop this can take a few moments. While this is going on we will present you with your “order form” and price guide.
After getting them on the computer you will be asked to review them and deside which portraits are your favorite. You will not have to purchase all of these for them to be saved in our computer.
After desiding on favorites you deside which package suits your needs and determine the sizes.
After picking out your portraits we give you your total cost for the portrait session, this is your sitting fee and package purchase and any addition sheets you will be purchasing.
You also recive a proof CD with the images that you purchase that day. You recive this CD when your portraits are ready for delivery, which is usually in about 7 business days.
IN SOME CASES - we may need to do some photo editing, so you will recive your proof CD at the time of delivery with your portrait prints.We have desided to offer Copyright Realease on our images you may choose to purchase a CD with your favorite images on it for a flat rate with no need to purchse any thing else from us. It may take 2-3 days to get your CD if there are any Photo Edits needing to be made.
Payment
After you have determained your packages, we will have a total for you. We ask that you pay in full the day of the service.
We except Cash and Personal Check.
I am now excepting payment through paypal for your prints, payment for the sitting will be collected on the day of your session. I will send an invoice to your e-mail account. You will not recive your prints until I have recived payment
Delivery
We can have your portraits delivered directly to your home or we can personaly deliver them to you at your home or meet at a location of your choice.
