Cinema Crypt Art Contest

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

A new message from Rosie at the Cinema Crypt:

Get out your camera, your paintbrushes, your crayons, and your imagination!
It’s contest time here at The Crypt!

I want to see your take on your favorite scary movies– I want to see you dressed up like Freddy Kruger, I want your watercolor paintings of that little girl from The Ring, I want to see it all! So put those juicy brains to work and send me your horror movie themed art! The top artists picked will have their art featured on The Cinema Crypt on August 1st 2008, and the winner will get an Organic Cotton Cinema Crypt t-shirt to wear while they brag to all of their friends that Rosie likes them best!

Beginning on May 29th, 2008, you can enter the Contest by answering the questionnaire (link below) and submitting it in an e-mail with an original work of art in the form of a .gif, .jpg, or bmp file that does not exceed 5 megabytes in size, that is based on any legitimate horror movie.

Multiple entries into the Contest are allowed, however each separate entry requires that you submit a separate e-mail and questionnaire for each work of art.

All e-mails should be sent to Gardner_Marketing@Yahoo.com

The contest will close on Rosie’s birthday—-
July 18th, 2008.

To learn more about the contest just go to The Cinema Crypt and click on the “contests” link at the top of the page!

Good Luck,
Rosie

Rosie Interviews Tom Savini

Thursday, May 22nd, 2008

This just in from Rosie with the Cinema Crypt:

“With the release of the latest edition to the “Dead” collection, Diary of the Dead, I bring you the greatest moment in Cinema Crypt history….

The Tom Savini Interview!

This is the mind behind the most memorable zombies, vampires, and blood splattered scenes of all time. Tom Savini has been working with George A. Romero for decades creating zombies and acting in almost every “Dead” film. Be sure to listen for him in the just released Diary of the Dead. Between the acting, the make-up effects and the directing, he has been involved in more horror films than anyone I have ever heard of! Needless to say, your girl Rosie is more than a little star-struck!

So curl up in your favorite electric chair and get ready for a treat!”
