I’m pretty sure most of you have heard of the lovely Bernie Dexter! I happen to be a really big fan of hers. I know a few of you may have heard my say in the past that the “Bettie Page” thing has been way over done. I’m a big fan of Bettie as well, but I’m sick of going to clubs and seeing EVERY girl there trying to look like Bettie Page. Sure, I’ve taken photos with a “Bettie” wig 0n, but I’ve also taken photos as “Marilyn”, with pink, blue, green and blonde hair too. I like to change my looks.
Dressing up as Marilyn for a few years made me very quick to be able and see if someone has a ‘over done’ look. My “Marilyn”, like most “Marilyn Look a likes” is very over done. That is because I don’t really look like her! So I have to go a little further with my make-up and style. Marilyn didn’t have to wear that much make-up or try to hold herself in that manner. It was her! Just her.
Back to Bernie… She is just so damn lovely! And she really does look so damn much like Bettie Page! I really do not believe that she tries to have that ‘Bettie’ look. She just does. Even Bettie Page has said that Bernie happens to look just like her. Even if you see her in a different look, she still looks like ‘Bernie’.

I’ve never bought anything for Stop Staring, not because I don’t just love their stuff! But I wouldn’d pay good money for something my Mom can make me for half the price! (HAHAHA)
